GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND TO GET FIRST LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL FEBRUARY 1, 2001

The Inn at Old Bahama Bay Heralds The Arrival of
A True Paradise Island Experience

WEST END, GRAND BAHAMA ISLAND - November 19, 2001
The Inn at Old Bahama Bay opened its doors on February 9, 2001 as the first luxury boutique hotel of Grand Bahama Island with 24 beachfront guestrooms and suites measuring 550 square feet each, lanais, oceanfront pool, a restaurant, a massage pavilion and the region's - if not the world's - finest fishing, diving, snorkeling and boating activities.

Set on oceanfront property, in the historic village of West End, at the tip of Grand Bahama Island, only 56 miles east of Palm Beach, Florida, The Inn at Old Bahama Bay, offers privacy and relaxed ambiance in an out-island experience within a gated residential and marina community.

The architecture of each beach cottage is designed with an elegant Island Plantation décor. The exteriors feature tropical pastels and landscaping. Hotel suites are elegantly appointed with custom-designed furnishings in rich mahogany woods and textured leathers. Kitchenettes complete with microwave, refrigerator and wet bar provide in-room convenience. Spacious and luxurious bathrooms feature Kohler fixtures and vanities with granite tops. Luxury amenities including Frette bathrobes and linens, CD players and library, cable television, fiber optic cable for phone, fax and modem lines. Adding to the casual elegance in design and the unique range of amenities are the breathtaking panoramic ocean and marina views. Charming and lavish, The Inn offers a variety of services including daily housekeeping, turn-down service, DVD rental, 24-hour concierge service, and the New York Times daily fax.

The many water and land activities available include bicycle rentals, boat rentals, water sports, deep sea and reef fishing, as well as one of the most extensive snorkel trail programs in the islands. The snorkel trail programs of Old Bahama Bay are comprised of 7 different snorkel areas specifically designed by naturalists for the snorkeling areas around Old Bahama Bay. Underwater maps and marine life guides are provided to guarantee ultimate sea explorations to snorkel enthusiasts of all levels.

The resort also features residential waterfront homesites with private docks and hotel condominiums where owners lease their residence back into the hotel rental program when not in personal use. The 72-slip full-service marina accommodates vessels up to 120' and offers official port-of-entry and on-site immigration and customs.

The second phase of the development program calls for the addition of 23 suites, fitness center, as well as an airport and golf course in the near future.
