WEST END, Grand Bahama ISLAND – Old Bahama Bay at Ginn sur Mer, Grand Bahama Island’s premier resort and marina and announces the addition of 24 king-bedded junior suites, bringing the total number of guestrooms to 73, with 67 junior suites and 6 two-bedroom suites. The new junior suites are now available. Half of the rooms are ocean front, while the others are ocean view.
All of the new rooms combine the resort’s casual elegance with colonial influences and feature king beds with duvet covers. They incorporate white flowing fabrics, flat screen LCD televisions with DVDs and plantation shutters. Kitchens are outfitted with stainless steel appliances and granite kitchen counter tops.
Like the existing suites, the new rooms are decorated in the resort’s signature style of dark woods, rich fabrics and custom-designed Island Plantation-style furnishings. Warm, textured leathers garnish the interiors while tropical pastels and exquisite landscaping enliven the exteriors. Additionally, all suites feature spacious living areas with the finest amenities as well as sleeper sofas, 100% cotton Frette linens, spacious bathrooms with Kohler fixtures and large soaking tubs with spa features.
Old Bahama Bay rates for 2007 range from $235 to $515 for an ocean view suite, $280 to $620 for an ocean front suite and $560 to $1,240 for a two-bedroom suite.
