Island Weddings By Design is the antithesis
of a traditional destination wedding package offering
a premium a la carte menu. The program affords couples
the opportunity to pick and choose from a host of arrangements,
services and items guaranteed to personalize their special
day. As part of the service, couples are assigned an
on-site wedding planner knowledgeable in every aspect
of island wedding planning in The Bahamas. The wedding
planner will meet with couples to discuss their needs
as well as the many options available to them to create
the wedding of their dreams. From intimate and simple
barefoot elegance on the beach to the ultimate and exclusive
use of the entire resort, couples can truly have their
day their way, and need only be in the Bahamas for 24
hours before they can apply for a marriage license.
Among the venues for ceremonies
and receptions are: Stately yachts for ceremonies at sea, white
sand beach, Settlement Point wedding gazebo, and
oceanfront pool overlooking the Atlantic ocean. With
just 49 suites, couples also have the option of reserving
the entire resort for a truly personal and exclusive
occasion. In addition to venues, details such as
tropical floral arrangements, wedding cakes, photography
and entertainment are attended to by the wedding
planner to accommodate the bride and groom’s
tastes.
The resort will also provide the couple with a personal
website page to post photos of the ceremony, allowing
friends and family unable to attend to share their
special day.

from Palm Beach, Florida. It is comprised of beachfront
guestrooms and suites complete with lanais, spacious
baths with oversized soaking tubs and beautiful Island-Plantation
inspired furnishings and art and a choice of kitchenettes
or full kitchens. Recreational activities and amenities
include a fitness center, massage pavilion,
oceanfront heated pool, the region’s – if
not the world’s – finest deep-sea and bone

The flat rate for the Island Weddings
by Design is
$2,400.00. The fee is exclusive of add-on amenities,
rooms, food and beverage, tax and gratuities. The rate
